Since its foundation in 2001, UNOSAT, the Operational Satellite Applications Programme of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has been delivering imagery analysis and satellite solutions to relief and development organizations inside, and outside the UN system. As a technology-intensive programme, UNOSAT helps make the difference in critical areas such as humanitarian relief, human security, strategic territorial and developing planning.
