Hello! Welcome to this quick tutorial for Text Compare. Firstly, select Text Compare on the Main menu page. The Text Comparison supports PDF files, text files and Microsoft Word or Excel files. This tie, we drag-and-drop our Source and Target files, it’s also possible to browse the files. The Source file is typically the reference file or for example the old version. The Target file is the new file, typically a pdf. Select a predefined Text setting for the comparison, it’s possible to select specific settings to fit the use case manually. Today we are going to use the settings template ‘Normal’ for our comparison. To select the area for comparison, choose the area for the selection in the drop-down list or select the area manually on the next page, let me show you how.
