You have been named captain of your team. This is your second year on this team and things have not started well. Last year's coach was a major part of the community, highly respected and well liked. He moved out of town with his family to pursue a new opportunity. The new coach has come to you to talk about some of the challenges the team is facing. Together you identified that the players were more like individuals than a cohesive unit. Everybody seemed to be doing their own thing and it was showing on the scoreboard and in the morale in the dressing room. As the captain you were asked by the coach to create a plan to assist in solving the problem. Considering the All Blacks as inspiration, design a strategy that includes 3 initiatives you can facilitate as captain and 3 ways you can tap into the skills of your teammates to come together and demonstrate the collective potential of the organization. You assignment is as follows. 1. Choose how you want to share the plan; written essay, video upload, or podcast 2. Be both creative and conscientious. Make sure you have considered the challenge at hand carefully. 3. Name your plan. 4. You can use fictitious details such as name of your team or events that have occurred. 5. Ensure that conventions of language are followed. Written length should be between 2-3 pages, videos or audio recordings should be between 10-15 minutes.
