The first quarter goes in a respectable twenty two and three. Just outside COMMANDING WARRIOR comes the eight, that’s AUNT BO throwing her hat into the ring for the leed. Mid way through the turn it’s COMMANDING WARRIOR taking the leed with TOO SOON and AUNT BO in hot pursuit. Eve Polastri and A FEAST FOR CROWS holding fourth and MAGIC DANCER, Mordred Companion and Blue By You trailing the field. AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME. And it’s STILL COMMANDING WARRIOR going best of all, and down on the rail comes TOO SOON, and just to HIS outside charges EVE Polastri. They’re flying down the stretch and here comes EVE Polastri moving for the front. Eve Polastri and now Mordred Companion rushing forward. Looks like Eve Polastri first, Moredred Companion second, and a TIGHT photo between Commanding Warrior and Magic Dancer for third.
