What is...Fake news? In this technological era, everybody is busy using their mobile phones and other devices. A person named John is using his tablet, and suddenly, he gets a notification saying that the aliens are coming. John found the title interesting and opened it. Without reading the article, he shares it with his friends and family. His friends and family like, comment and share it further with their friends. Suddenly the news starts spreading all over the world. News always has reliable and accurate information. However, fake news has inaccurate and unreliable information. A better description for fake news would be false information. False information is created when someone creates an honest mistake... or for a bit of fun and entertainment. False information could also be created to mislead and deceive the audience in order to influence their views and actions. Propaganda gave false information about the war and influenced people to join the army. Another reason false information is created is to make money through clickable content. The more clicks and views the story gets, the more money the online publishers get.
