The suspect was turned over by the NBI Laguna office to the NBI 7. on the same day, Peralta and the other suspects were charged with murder before the Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office. NBI 7 Director Rennan Augustus Oliva, identified the other suspects as John Raymond Suarez, of Muntinlupa City, a certain Randy Palpparran, and three “John Does,”. Two of the suspects were identified by witnesses and other evidence. One of the witnesses was Wee’s wife, who identified Peralta and Suarez after seeing their pictures. Peralta was the main gunman, while Suarez acted as his backup. The other witnesses were from the rent-a-car establishment where the suspects rented a four-wheel getaway vehicle, a Toyota Vios, and the pension house where the suspects stayed in Cebu. They left Cebu on Nov. 26, three days after Wee’s murder. One of the suspects left Cebu for Manila just last Dec. 1. Since the suspects were already outside the jurisdiction of the NBI 7, the NBI 7 forwarded the initial information they had gathered to Deputy Director Antonio Paggatppat of the NBI Regional Operations Services. Paggatppat , then directed NBI-Laguna chief, Daniel Daganzo to create a team and track down Peralta. Daganzo said, they were able to locate Peralta in Cabuyao through monitoring and intelligence gathering. The team then conducted an operation against Peralta that resulted in his arrest last Dec. 8. Seized from Peralta were his personal belongings including his shoe which was captured in CCTV footage, and believed to be the same pair he was wearing when the crime was committed and his IDs. Panis St., And he was seen boarding a Toyota Vios, the rented getaway four-wheel vehicle of the suspects. In the footage, Peralta was also seen boarding the getaway car that later traversed J.
