Every content that comes on the platform passes through a moderation process. In the moderation process, we ensure that the content we have on our platform is acceptable and also make sure the quality of the content is up to the mark by scoring the acceptable content. For the moderation process, we use a moderation tool, where we can preview the content and assess as per the guidelines. Before proceeding to the manual moderation, the content process through the auto-checks, Only the content that passes through the auto-check goes to the manual moderation process. To access the tool, make sure you are login on to a Trell mail account. Open the tool link in the browser and then click on “Login with Google”. Tool screen will appear, here you can click on “Qc Panel”. Now the content that is there on the tool will be visible. On the tool we have the filters that you can apply to filter the content that you need to moderate: Choose Language : You can select the content in a specific language. Choose Category : You can select the category of the content. Choose Date : You can filter the content based on it's creation date, So you can prioritize content based on it. Search by Trail ID : You can search for any content which is there in the tool by the content ID. Order By : You can change the order of the content based on trail ID or updated date, based on the priorities. Assigned can have status like Pending, Approved and Auto rejected or Rejected. Only the pending you will need to moderate. Once it's complete, status will get changed to Approve or Rejected. Auto rejected trails do not require a manual moderation. Once you select the filter click on “Apply”. If you need to remove all the filters you can click on “Clear filter”. Click on the content title to see the preview of the content. On the preview screen, you can see Trail ID, Creator name, and Created date on top, The title name is in bold below the creator name and there is an option to copy the content link. At the bottom of the screen, the Description of the content is visible. When we click on “Show Thumbnail” it will redirect to the content’s thumbnail. On the other side, you can see Gender, Language, Category, and button to assign. Select the gender based on the content suitable for which gender-specific users. Language is already assigned there using the language detection model, in case if the language is not correctly assigned you can select the correct language and click on re-assign. Select the best suitable category for the content and click on assign. Click on the “Submit” button, to submit the GLC. Then you can moderate the content. On the other side, you can see two options - “Reject” or “Approve” the content. If you “Reject” the content, a list of rejection reasons will be visible to you, from which you will have to select at least one reason for rejection and click on “Submit”. If you Approve the content click on “Approve”. After clicking on “Approve” you will be able to see the scoring parameters graded on a scale of 0-5. The score is set at 0 by default for each parameter and you have the opportunity to score for each parameter based on scoring guidelines. Scoring has given based on the defined parameter as visible here Face/Personality grooming, Category Expertise, Relatable Content, Narration & Pacing, Background, Lighting, Camera Angle, Dress, Background Music, Filters, text, edits, Thumbnail, Title, Audio Quality, Video Quality, and CTA. After marking the score, you shall click on “submit approval”. The final score for the content will be automatically calculated based on the weightage assigned for a particular parameter and the score given by you.
