01/14/2021 US Election Revelation Today: The 30th hexagram Li (to leave) with its 4th line active to change to the 22nd hexagram B (to decorate) Note: since November 1 of 2020, Lot Tertius, the author of “Future Message Series” has published messages in Chinese at LoveYi dot Net to follow up the 2020 US Election on a daily basis. Each message is based on his reading of the hexagram, cast for each day, using 6 coins with one coin being marked as the one in the active changing mode. Note also that in our English translations, a simple English verb is picked to describe each hexagram. Today six coins were cast in the morning to get the 30th hexagram Li (to leave) with its fourth line in active and changing mode, thus this 30th hexagram can be transformed to the 22nd hexagram B (to decorate). If you are not familiar with these two hexagrams’ images, please see below: The 30th hexagram Li (to leave) with its 4th line active to change to the 22nd hexagram B (to decorate) The Li (to leave) hexagram ranks the 3rd position among the eight basic hexagrams of YI Ching, the Book of Change. From the perspective of the Bible, it points to the third Person of the Trinity, i.e. the Holy Spirit. This is certainly not a small issue. The Li hexagram is associated with fire. On one hand it means once the fire is attached to something, it is hard to get away from it; On the other hand, it indeed carries the meaning of “to leave”. Thus it makes common sense that: if anything gets caught by a fire, the fire will not automatically leave until all that can be burned have been completely consumed. For more interpretation concerning the Li hexagram, please refer to the message of December 3, 2020 (note: not translated into Chinese yet) on US Election. Today we only focus on hexagram Li’s 4th line and its classic description to give some specific interpretations. The classical description of Li’s 4th line goes like this in Chinese: to ru qi lai RU, fen ru, si ru, qi ru. As you can see, the character ru shows up four times. It litterally means IF or PRETENDING. In a sense, it indicates that the hexagram’s second line may not relate to things in the past, but rather concerns things in the future, things that must take place. So IF we PRETEND that these set things will happen now, then we are in a better position to prepare for them. In other words, this line follows from the previous line and extends to further address Li hexagram’s meaning of the 3rd line. So what is the classical description for the 3rd line? It is this: Ri zhe zhi li, bu gu fǒu er ge, ze da dié zhi jiē, xiong. Here ro zhe means the sun is about to set in the west. da dié refers to those who are seventy or eighty years old. Pretend that you have lived to an age that is close to the sunset (elderly), your reflection about the past would be a mixture of joy and sadness. It might contain the moment of gu fǒu er ge when you were so joyful that you naturally danced to the beat of music; you could also recall times that you regret for what could have been accomplished IF you had treasured time and caught the chance to take needed action. The sad thing would be, there would not be enough time to do it or turn it around. With this note in mind, we can grasp the meaning of Li’s 4th line to ru qi lai, fen ru, si ru, qi ru as this: What IF a person just died suddenly, then the body being cremated, and the ashes spread over the sea? Such a scenario is not too far fetched, is it? It certainly carries the unfinished expression of the 3rd line’s meaning and the heart felt sadness when one faces the moment of death. This is also the reason why Li means TO LEAVE. However, this Li does not mean “death is like lights out, they’re white” as there are countless things to come. So it helps us to understand the second layer of Li’s meaning, that is, it points to the fire that gives light. If a person sees that the fire of Leaving can bring light, then his or her view of death will be totally changed. Now come to the 22nd hexagram B (to decorate) that is changed from Li the 30th hexagram. B’s 4th line description goes like this: bi ru, pó ru, bai ma han ru, fei kou hun gou. Here you see again, there are quite a few occasions for the character RU, just like what you see in Li’s 4th line description TO RU QI LAI, FEN RU, SI RU, QI RU. Not a coincidence but why so many IF’s in both cases? On surface, B’s 4th line descriptionpó ru, bai ma han ru means white cloth and white horses, which appear to reveal scenes of a funeral that one tends to see in Chinese culture. However, the last four words fei kou hun gou in the latter part of the line description says differently. It pictures a RED wedding after the previous WHITE funeral. The reason is simple, the core meaning of B hexagram is to decorate, and is certainly associated with how a bride decorates herself before the big day, which is literally how the Bible describes humanity as the Bride preparing herself to marry the Lamb of God who is on His way. Now, having come to this point, then we can better perceive the chaos of this US Election and the life threatening characteristics of Covid-19 pandemic are merely the WHITE event – on the surface they look bad and are truly terrible, but a series of RED and HAPPY events are coming right after. Who can accurately predict all the wonderful and mysterious events that are on the way, following the US Election and Corona virus pandemic? By the way, beside the wonderful connection of the serial number 30 of Li hexagram with the number of 3 and the 3rd Person of the Trinity, hexagram B’s serial number 22 happens to be Hebrew Alphabet’s last letter, which points to the happy ending for everything. If you do not know what this happy ending is, go to Revelation chapter 22 to read it. We can not hide our rejoicing now. How could the Chinese culture connect these WHITE-RED DOUBLE HAPPINESS together? The WHITE one points to CLEAN death and RED one to REBIRTH, the resurrection? Do you see it? Behold and see how the special revelation in the Bible goes hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder with the natural revelation hidden in Yi Ching, the Book of Change. What a marvelous match indeed!
