Hi. Thanks for joining me in getting your podcast up and running. Today we're going to show you how to set up your very first show using podcasts.com as a host. First: make sure you have an email handy to sign up. Go to podcasts.com and click the register button on the top right next to login. You'll be presented with a simple signup menu and asked to register as a listener or a podcaster. Click podcaster to host your show, then input your name, email and a password. Click the "agree to terms of service" checkbox and click next. The next section is where you actually add your show to your account. Click on add podcast on the top, and the next screen is where you name your show, choose a category of podcast, then choose a secondary sub-category, copyright info, your language, the subtitle for describing what your show is about to your audience, and finally the big description that gives your audience a big idea overall of what you're all about, and how people can find you and your work on social media and the web & interact with you further. I'll show you how to create this artwork later using canva.com as a guide. The next step is your submission info to itunes so that your show gets published there every time you create a new episode. Click next, check the summary of what you've just created, and then hit submit. Your podcast is now available to publish episodes into.
