In today’s world, there is so much competition among men, so you want to stand out and be seen as a masculine guy who is strong and got a lot of good characteristics. So, how do you look more masculine? How can you show girls that you can protect them? How can you show that you are confident, and a more charismatic gentleman, without being cocky? In today’s article, I will be listing out the 7 tips on how you can look more masculine than the average man out there. Advertisements 7 Ways to Look More Masculine 1. Develop a Good Posture You need to stand with confidence—this means no slouching. Posture is the best, quickest, and easiest way to change the way others look at you. You can go from someone who looks like Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame to looking like Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. Standing right will make you look like a different person, as you will look more masculine, more confident, more energetic and ready for anything circumstances that may come your way. When you look at someone, and they are slouching, the first thing you will think of is, “what the hell is wrong with this guy, does he even want to be here? is he tired? Is he not confident?” So, you need to make sure that you have your posture on point. And what this means is, shoulders back; chest out; make sure that you are standing up straight; and when you are sitting down, on the laptop or your phone, don’t do like Quasimodo—this is terrible for your back, and it is horrible for your posture. 2. Have a Great Skin You need to have clear, smooth and clean skin because having acne is simply just childish. Yes, truly young teens suffer from acne due to having a lot of hormones going on, they don’t know what to do when it comes to skincare; but that is okay if you fall in this category. But if you are a man, matured man, you should know that taking care of your skin and having smooth soft skin is vital. When it comes to taking care of your skin and having great skin—I am not talking about just your face, but your entire skin, from head to toe—having a good and constant skincare routine is vital. One of the best benefits that come with having good skin is that you have self-confidence in yourself, in your skin. So, why not try it out. Having great skin involves investing in the right products. There are various products out there that do worse than good. In my article, I listed out 10 best body washes or shower gel you can get in the market right now; I also mentioned the ingredients you need to watch out for in a shower gel — you will enjoy it. Also, if you like, feel free to check out a face product I have been using for the past 12 months now, and they have worked just great for my face— Clean & Clear 3. Develop A Good Mental Health Mental health awareness is one of the factors that contribute to masculinity. In my recent article, I have researched a series of ways to help cope with Men’s Mental Health Issues today. Toxic masculinity is one of the things that makes men look less masculine. The stigma developed in men from childhood creates a form of “masculinity” that do worse than good to men today, and this affects the ways men acts and behave. To be more masculine, you need to know all there is to know about Men’s Mental Health, which is something we have gathered from various men and combined it into an article for our reader. Feel free to check this out here. 4. Learn the Art of Calmness Be calm, don’t overreact; staying cool and collected is sexy—this is what people around you need sometimes from you. Becoming restless and over worrying on the littlest things isn’t the way to show your manliness, and most importantly, it doesn’t help those around you or help the situation. For you to be more masculine and stronger, you need to panic less, most especially at the littlest things—this is not a good look, neither is it a manly thing to do. If there is a situation at hand, you need to be calm; reassure yourself that everything will be okay, and most especially, reassure those around you (if it involves them) that everything will be fine. Do your best to handle the situation as best as you can, but do not lose your cool. 5. Be A Gentleman, and Not A Nice Guy Nice guys are the guys that do nice things and hope they get love and appreciation from other people. In all honesty, doing this is not being nice at all, in fact, it is self-seeking—and this is why women tend to hate a nice guy. But instead, you should be a gentleman. A gentleman is a man that is polite, considerate of others, and are kind. They do not want to something back from others, but they are doing these acts of kindness because they genuinely care about the needs of those around them; this protective instinct acquired by them makes them an alpha male. 6. Make a Good Eye Contact Do not underestimate the power of good eye contact. Do not be afraid to look into another man’s eyes—at first, this might be uncomfortable, but as you practice, you will master this. To practice, every time you enter a room, look into everyone’s eyes; never look down. When you engage in a conversation, you should look into their eyes because this shows that you value the moment you are sharing with them and you have good, sensible reasoning. This act shows how confident you are, and how much of a man you are. To finish it off, when you should engage back when in a conversation. Try to look at the individual speaking, show them you are engaged by reasoning with their words, but do not look down, or away when it doesn’t call for it. 7. Develop a Good Physic Let face it, the image above is an exaggeration, so do not think looking like the man above is what will make you look masculine because that is not the case. As much as having good mental health is vital, the same applies to have good physical health and looking healthy. You can start to have such good physic by starting from the gym. You may not need to physically go to the gym with equipment but start working out from home. There are different workouts you can do from your home—this I have listed in this article here. Exercising helps get rid of fats that may make you look less masculine—for example, man boobs— these attributes can lead to you having less confidence in things or less confidence in how you look. But working out your body to look good and manly, will not just increase your confidence, but also makes you look more masculine than the average man.
