Microprocessor Based Flame Photometer Model – 1382/1385. INTRODUCTION. Hello, today I am going to introduce you to Microprocessor Flame Photometers Model – 1385 and model 1382. These are ideal instruments for determination of concentration of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Lithium and Barium in the samples. This instrument uses the latest microprocessor technology and advanced engineering techniques so as to give enhanced accuracy and reproducibility. The system has user friendly prompts, which guide you throughout the measurement process. The instrument has a 20 x 4 character alphanumeric LCD display with backlit, which guides the user throughout. It has a 20 soft touch membrane keys keyboard with full numeric keypad that provides a convenient interface for entering the data. A ‘Help’ key is provided which provides the information on the current LCD screen. The samples being analyzed are automatically stored in the memory in different batch and sample numbers. These samples can be printed any time on a dot matrix or HP Laserjet/Inkjet printer through the centronics printer port. Microprocessor Flame Photometer Model – 1385 comes with flame failure detection and auto gas cutoff facility. In case of power failure, the gas supply to the burner cuts off automatically. Also, in case the flame goes off accidently during work, the flame failure alarm sounds after few seconds. The instruments are generally supplied with Sodium and Potassium filters. The instrument comes in two units, The Main unit and the Compressor unit. Open both the boxes. The accessories are located in the pockets provided in the thermocole packing. Please take out the accessories from the thermocole packing.This is the Main Unit i.e. the Flame photometer unit. The compressor unit. Chimney Air Tubing. Gas Tubing. Capillary Tube. Sample Holders. Mains Lead. Manual Igniter. The Dust Cover and finally the operation manual. The LPG Gas cylinder and its gas regulator is not provided by the company. The user should make sure that he has these available with him in order to use this instrument.
