Sicily with its 720 miles of coast is the largest island in the Mediterranean sea, its geographical position has always made it a center of exchange and meeting between the people of this sea. Along these coasts we find Greek legends and Latin works. It has given birth to great characters from antiquity to the present day. Legends such as Aeneas, Ulysses, Archimedes have passed through here. Today it is divided into nine provinces, seven of which are located along the coast and only two are located in the interior.
