February 7, 2024. part 9. At one point, I said, is it me or are these things getting tighter. Talking about the handcuffs. They sorta hurt. The lady mentioned me being a fire fighter. Nah. The guy started talking to me again and he mentioned me taking the righteous path and stuff. He mentioned some character from star wars. He asks me why Im walking around late at night and I said that I like to walk around and to take pictures and I did take some. He said that that doesnt make any sense. He also said that I need to talk to them a bit and how he doesnt wanna see me get hurt. He mentioned me doing something to someones car and what if a crazy dude comes out. He mentioned a bad guy coming out and really hurting me and how he doesnt wanna see that happen. He said how he doesnt wanna see that happen and mentioned that I have no criminal record and he also mentioned helping me to get started right. He said that this path isnt gonna end well for me and that hes tryna look out. And that its a scary thing and how hes tryna make sure Im staying safe. I appreciated what he was saying. For real. He said if someone was effing with his vehicle and he wasnt a cop, he wouldnt be happy. He mentions how theres a lot of violent people and that he wants to get me down another path. He said that I seem like I have a good head on my shoulders and that hes serious. That I seem like a smart kid. He said, at the end of the day, were all human. Facts He mentioned getting me some help and getting my parents on board with helping me. I figured he meant with getting me into school or some type of work. He at one point was like, you dont wanna talk to us to get you some help Man, I couldnt just talk I wasnt tryna incriminate myself in any way He said how hes just tryna reach out and that he wouldnt be sitting on the curb in the cold whether, talking to me right now. That hed probably be getting some bacon, egg and cheese bagels from some East dale village shop. He then said, but hes here right now with me and is trying to make sure that Im going to take another path. That if I dont, he doesnt see things ending well for me. He then asks me if he would be sitting here right now if he didnt really mean it. I said, I plead the 5th. He said that Im not incriminating myself and that hes just saying would he really be here on the sidewalk with me. Talking to me. He then said hed like for me to come down and talk to some people he knows for some help. To tell them whats going on. He said how hed help me out, but that I just gotta talk. And to get things off my chest. He said that Im smart and how itd be a waste to throw my life away. He mentioned helping me and mentioned me getting things off my chest and how itll eat at me. Yeah, I doubt itll eat a me. He mentioned again that hes tryna reach out and how Im a smart guy. Rather than me going down a bad path. He gets up at one point and said to stay right there and that hed be back in a sec. The lady cop was by me and I asked her if she smokes weed. She said that she doesnt smoke and doesnt have anything for me too smoke. I told her that I smoked twice before. I was just making small talk, which as an introvert, is very rare or never. Im a different breed. She also said if she had it, she doesnt think she could give it to me. She was like, thats a big ask. She asked me if I was cold and I said I wasnt. She was like really And seemed surprised. I told her that I walk around a lot. She asked me if I liv by myself and I said nah. I liv with family.
