February 7, 2024. part 7. He asked me if I had any weapons on me or anything like that and I said nah. My thoughts at the time was just like, "Aw shit I've been caught", and, "whatever. I don't care, this is a new experience and is gonna make an interesting journal story". I didn't really care too much, I already been feeling dead inside. The cop is like "Why are you running from us !!". I ain't even answer that. I never even ran. I honestly didn't care if I got arrested or not. I needed some excitement in my life. I was just thinking that if I get caught, then I get caught. I was just not caring about anything really. I asked the other cop who walked up that said to stay right there, was I running. He basically said I was ducking him. The cop who cuffed me goes through my pockets and sweater pouch and pulled everything out of my pocket. My Ipad was in my pouch and I know that cops go through devices and shit. I was thinking about how they were going to find everything on there and yo, I thought that I had that dude's wallet in my pocket and so I was done for for real !! But nah, I had forgot I took the guy's wallet out. Lucky me. They laid everything I had on me, on the ground. My Ipad, My portable Ipad charger with the cord attached, 2 glass breakers, my bike's old freewheel, some change I had in a zip lock baggy, my metal dog chain, my wallet and this one thing I stole out of someone's car. The yellowish green thing that plugs into the car and has a USB. The guy who told me to stay right there, asked me if I'm usually walking around this late at night and I said that I always do this. The cop who put me in cuffs asked if I have ID and I said yes, right there. He was having some trouble figuring out which thing was my ID and I corrected him on how to pronounce my name. Another cop ends up walking over and taking my ID out. And multiple cops came toward me by this point. This other cop with a deep voice asked me my last name and how to spell it. I spelled it for him and he asked my date of birth and I told him that. The cop who cuffed me sat me down on the curb/sidewalk. A lady cop came to where we was too. She was like, "He ran from me earlier" and I asked when. She said at the other place. So I was ducking a lady cop back at the area where I broke into the first two cars. That's crazy. I mentioned my glasses getting loose and the guy cop who cuffed me, fixed them on my face for me. The deep voiced cop asked what I was doing and how I liv on so and so road and how that's deep. He mentioned me having no car and being at a complex 5 am and how I don't have a car. He asked if I walked and I said yeah. I lied. He asked about the dog chain, describing it as a bike chain thing and I told him it's a dog chain. I mentioned the freewheel being from an old bike I used to have. Another lie. He asked if I have a bike and I told him that I don't have a bike. He said that he's real concerned with these glass breakers and then he asks me, breaking windows tonight ?! I said nah and I low key wanted to smile !! He was like, not tonight ?! He mentioned me having no bike or car, but 2 glass breakers being in my pocket. Then he asks why I have a glass breaker and two of them. I said because it's for protection. Then I mentioned how if a car gets submerged in water, then you could knock the glass out. So I only mentioned the purpose for why they were made. Not the purpose for why I got them. Dude said I don't have a car and I said that I ride around with people who do. He asks what kind of people and I said normal people/family. He asks who do I liv with and I said my brother and sister.
