Lowprice airlines are becoming increasingly popular. Although these airlines do not provide the conveniences of more expensive airlines, they allow people to get to their destinations at lower costs. Discuss both the positive and negative aspects of lowprice airlines and state your opinion. Lowprice airlines are increasing significantly in both numbers and popularity. Although these airlines may be more accessible to people for their low cost, there are both advantages and disadvantages when using them for travel. I personally think that lowprice airlines can be highly beneficial for the future of air travel. One of the biggest advantages of lowcost air travel is that it allows more people the opportunity to travel. Thanks to such airlines, flying to many destinations is no longer an unaffordable luxury. Allowing more people to travel means that they can experience new places and cultures and broaden their perspective. Low air travel costs also mean that people can spend the money that they save on other aspects of travel. For example, they can use it to stay at better hotels, try different kinds of local food, or visit more tourist spots. However, the reality of lowcost airlines is not all rainbows and butterflies. The service that cheap airlines provide is often not as good as that of more expensive flights. Lowcost airlines often do not have TVs or music, serve simple meals, and the seats may be smaller and more uncomfortable. Another severe downside of these airlines is that safety is sometimes put at stake. Tight flight schedules or overwork of employees with insufficient pay may contribute to keeping the price of airplane tickets down, but they may also sometimes result in maintenance errors which may lead to fatal accidents. Taking both the advantages and disadvantages of lowcost airlines into consideration, I stand by the opinion that these airlines can be beneficial as long as the prices are reasonably moderated so as not to impose an excessive burden on either the customers or employees.
