Hello guys, welcome to my channel The-Techster. SOOO finally! after a long wait, Microsoft has released the next generation of its WINDOWS, the Windows 11. On June 24th Microsoft officially launched its new operating system, Windows 11 to its users. According to the tech giant, windows 11 is Redesigned for productivity, creativity and ease. It’s modern, fresh, clean and beautiful look, From the new Start button and taskbar to each sound, font and icon, everything has been designed in an impeccable way! It has got 6 different themes to choose from in order to make your working space look really cool. Its themes vary from static images to wonderful motion graphics as well. It has become a faster way to connect to the people you care about. In this video, i'll be showing you how to try out windows 11 for free on your Windows or Mac system using VirtualBox. Let’s hop in to the video! Firstly, download and install VirtualBox application on your PC or laptop. I’ve already done that. Next download the ISO file of windows 11 which is linked in the description. Once its downloaded, head over to the VirtualBox application, and click on new. A dialog box will open, Type the name of your OS, I’m naming it as windows 11, select the location to which it has to be installed. Let the type be Microsoft Windows and the version be Windows 7, 64 bit. Click on next. Select the amount of RAM to be allocated for our windows. Allocate a minimum of 3GB ram. Click on next. Check, “create a virtual hard disk now “and click on next. Select VDI or VirtualBox disk image and click on next. Make sure that dynamically allocated is selected and click on next, here select how much of storage is needed to install our Windows. Allocate a minimum of 20GB, and finally click create. Now the Virtual machine has been created, head over to settings. In the general settings, in the advanced tab change the settings as shown. Then in the system settings move to the processor tab, and move the slider to minimum of 2 CPUs. Go to the storage tab and click on empty, Now click on the tiny disk icon in the corner and select the iso file we downloaded. Go to the USB tab and select USB 3.0. Click on OK. Now we are all set to run our windows 11 in VirtualBox. Click on start, and the all-new windows logo appears. It starts the setup. The standard windows installation page appears, select the country, time and the keyboard and click on next. Click on install now. Click on “I don’t have a product key” and then next. Select the edition you want; I’m choosing windows 11 pro. Agree to the terms and conditions and click next. Select custom installation and make sure that the right disk is selected. Click on next. Now the windows installation starts, and this will take a couple of minutes! Meanwhile, plz do subscribe to my channel. So, wait patiently. Its done, and the system reboots. A prompt appears on the screen to press any key, But DO NOT DO SO! Just wait until the setup finishes. It is better not to install, windows 11 as your primary OS as it can have lot of bugs which may intrude our usage and might be annoying. This is the best way to install the OS if you wanna try it out. And finally, we have the all-new Windows 11 installed. Finish the final setup by selecting your country, keyboard layout and so on. Click on setup for personal use and sign in to your Microsoft account. Create a PIN for your device and select, use as local device. Alas! We are done! As you can see, we are running the Windows 11 pro. To activate your windows, head over to the command prompt and run it as administrator. Type out the codes given in the description one by one in the correct order. Yes! Now we have officially licenced our windows 11.
