Hello everyone, and welcome to our final presentation on the System Analysis and Design process for the GoodEats App. We are excited to share our journey and insights with you. Im Ben Repp, and Im excited to be presenting with my amazing team members Wenyang Shan, Adrian Broadnax, and Ian Ombati. Now, youll notice that the slides mention Wenyang, but he goes by Bobby, so Ill be referring to him as Bobby throughout the presentation. Today, well take you on a journey through our entire process, sharing our insights, challenges, and successes. My Contributions, In the first week, I kicked off the project by creating the project charter and defining roles and role descriptions. In the third week, I designed the user interface mockups. In the fourth week, I finalized the user interface designs. During the fifth week, I managed the implementation planning and developed the phased implementation plan and testing strategy document. The sixth week involved finalizing documentation and the comprehensive report. Finally, in the seventh week, I set up a discussion post, recorded the voiceover, and compiled the final presentation. Adriana and Ians Contributions, Our researchers worked closely together on various tasks throughout the project. In the first week, they conducted the stakeholder analysis and initial requirements gathering. The second week saw them completing the requirements gathering, including both functional and nonfunctional requirements. During the fourth week, they created the data dictionary and developed the entityrelationship diagrams. By the fifth week, they collaborated on the risk management plan, developed user training plans, and compiled the testing strategy document. In the sixth week, the researchers reflected on team collaboration methods, compiled comprehensive requirements and design documents, and discussed risk mitigation strategies. In the seventh week, they collected information on challenges and successes, described team dynamics, organized weekly contributions, gathered recommendations, and shared the documented content. Bobby played a crucial role as our designer. In the second week, he developed the use case diagrams, created activity diagrams for key processes, and began the system context diagram. During the third week, Bobby completed the system context diagram, developed the highlevel architecture diagram, and created the initial data flow diagrams. By the fourth week, he finalized the data flow diagrams and developed the entityrelationship diagrams. In the fifth week, Bobby focused on developing user training plans. During the sixth week, he collected, organized, and finalized all diagrams created throughout the project, and designed a visual summary of the project for the final report. Finally, in the seventh week, Bobby created all slides based on content from Ian and Adriana and finalized the slides for our presentation. Challenges Successes that I faced, As the project manager, I faced several challenges, such as remote communication and coordination, learning new software for UIUX mockups, and integrating a new team member midway through the project. Managing different time zones and ensuring the scalability and security of the GoodEats platform also posed challenges. However, we had many successes comprehensive requirements gathering despite remote work, developing userfriendly UI designs, completing detailed design artifacts, effective collaboration, and seamlessly onboarding a new member. These experiences taught us the importance of clear communication and teamwork. Challenges Successes that Bobby faced. Bobby faced challenges like ensuring the UI met both functional and aesthetic expectations, balancing creativity with userfriendliness and accessibility standards, iterating on designs based on feedback while keeping within project timelines, and learning new design tools. Despite these challenges, they developed a visually appealing and intuitive UI, successfully incorporated feedback, created highfidelity mockups, and contributed to an improved user experience. Challenges Successes that Adriana and Ian encountered were communication barriers and time constraints, balancing diverse perspectives, managing workload and deadlines, and ensuring stakeholder needs were met. However, they achieved innovation through collaboration, and effective problemsolving, strengthened team dynamics, and completed and presented the GoodEats App project. Recommendations for Future Teams. Our recommendations for future teams include maintaining effective communication using video calls and collaborative platforms, ensuring role clarity to avoid confusion, holding regular updates and meetings to track progress, and staying flexible to adapt to changes and unexpected challenges. Encouraging Diverse Ideas. We encouraged diverse ideas by conducting brainstorming sessions where everyone contributed unique ideas for GoodEats, gathering feedback during the design and development phases, and leveraging crossdisciplinary insights. This approach helped us gather a variety of perspectives and innovative solutions. Creating a Shared Sense of Purpose. We created a shared purpose by establishing clear objectives, defining roles and responsibilities to ensure accountability, maintaining a collaborative environment with continuous feedback, and involving all team members in major decisionmaking to ensure everyone felt invested in the projects success. Work Sharing Among Team Members. We effectively shared the work among team members by assigning tasks based on individual strengths, holding regular checkins and updates to ensure alignment, encouraging mutual support through shared resources and peer assistance, and using collaborative tools like shared documents and task management software to streamline coordination. In conclusion, our system analysis and design process for the GoodEats App has been a valuable learning experience. We successfully met our project goals, overcame challenges, and enjoyed many successes. Our recommendations aim to benefit future teams embarking on similar projects. Thank you for your time and attention. Its been a pleasure sharing our journey with you. Lastly, here is our reference list. Thank you and have a wonderful day
