It all started two years ago. Clare was forty years old. She was overweight. She used to smoke a lot. She never got any exercise. She used to stay at home all day. She never went out into the fresh air. One day she looked at herself in the mirror “My God!”, she thought. “I look terrible!” She tried to touch her toes, but she couldn’t do it. She found an old dress she couldn’t put it on. It was too small, or rather she was too fat! The next day she tried to jog a little. At first it was terrible, she just couldn’t run. Not even a short distance. And often her friends used to laugh at her. “Why are you running? Are you in a hurry?” They shouted. Then she completely changed her way of living. She stopped eating meat and started eating fresh vegetables. Her father and mother started that too. At first, they didn’t like the new food. Instead of taking the bus to school she bought a bicycle. She also started doing yoga exercises. She has lost weight and she is much healthier.
