The last school year was over and before enrolling the university, some boys and girls decided to celebrate the event going for a trip in the country. One of the boys, Ben Miller, had a cottage in the country. He asked his father for the key, but he refused to give it to him. “Why don’t we take a couple of tents?” suggested Ben. All the others agreed. They got up early in the morning and walked all the way long to the place where the cottage was. Late in the afternoon, the boys put up their tents in the middle of a field. Soon after they cooked a meal over an open fire. They were all hungry and the food smelt good. After a wonderful meal, they told stories and sang songs by the camp fire. But some time later, it began to rain. The boys felt tired so they put out the fire and crept into their tents. Their sleeping bags were warm and comfortable, so they all slept soundly. In the middle of the night, one of the girls woke up and began shouting. The tent was full of water. They all hurried outside. It was raining heavily and they found that a stream had formed in the field. The stream flowed right under their tents.
