Win and Tim were very close friends. They had read ‘Treasure Island’ many times at school and had also dreamed of living on a deserted island, but they would have never imagined that they could have an experience like the one described by Stevenson in his famous book. One day, last summer, they were sailing out to sea when suddenly a terrible storm blew up and they were driven miles away from the shore. In the thunder and lightning they finished on a small island and their boat was completely destroyed. They remained on the island for some days. They tried to catch some fish and they also built a raft. Fortunately, there were many trees on that island. Of course, their parents had reported them missing. It was only after four days that they were spotted by a rescue helicopter. At last the adventure was over and they could see their parents and friends again. Win was a good storyteller and told his friends how they had survived and lived on the island. Some friends even suggested retelling the adventure but both Win and Tim refused to do it.
