Yesterday morning I got up very late. I didn’t have breakfast because I didn’t have time. I didn’t want to miss the first train to London. I asked my father to drive me to the station, but he told me he couldn’t because he had appointment. I had to catch the bus. Fortunately, the bus stop is just in front of my house. When I got to the station it was early. I went to the station bar and I took a coffee and a piece of cake. I bought also a newspaper. I wanted to read during the journey. The bar was empty at that time. After a while an elderly lady came into the bar. She was carrying a heavy case. I helped her to carry it and she came to sit at my same table. She told me she was going to see her grandchildren, but she didn’t tell me where they lived.
