A heartfelt journey that began with the dreams of a child and has evolved into a deep-seated passion for robotics and automation. Picture a wide-eyed kid, enchanted by the clinking gears of a toy robot. That was me. I am Muhammad Hassaan, and I am a resident of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Back in the 2000s, the world of robots seemed like a magical place where imagination danced with the hum of machinery. As I grew, so did my dreams of creating something equally enchanting. My first foray into the world of automation was an earnest attempt to bring a small toy car to life. Fast forward to my Electrical Engineering journey, where my love for robotics found new expressions. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad (IST) in July 2022. I had the opportunity to work on numerous projects related to Automation and Electrical Engineering. The projects were not just assignments; they were extensions of my childhood dreams. The Home Automation project, for instance, was like a nostalgic nod to the child who wished to control everything with the push of a button, but now with the skills and knowledge to make it happen. Moreover, I had the opportunity to undertake a challenging final year project on "Human Activity Recognition using Wi-Fi through deep learning". This project is a fusion of signals, networking, automation, and artificial intelligence. As part of this project, I had to collect and analyze a large amount of data from the physical layer of Wi-Fi networks, which proved to be a significant challenge. Despite the lack of guidance from my supervisor, I was determined to complete this project and took it upon myself to learn about data collection and analysis through various online resources, courses, and workshops. This experience has led me to realize that I am not content with merely completing tasks assigned to me, but instead, I have a genuine desire to explore and discover new frontiers in the realm of automation and artificial intelligence. Later, life opened a door to a job for me, and I got selected at Tesla Industries PVT LTD as an Embedded Software Engineer. I was responsible for developing software for home automation, Smart solar inverters, and electric Vehicles AC/DC chargers and Electric Bike Battery Swapping Station. Beyond academia, my journey took an entrepreneurial turn. Fueled by the desire to turn dreams into practical solutions, I ventured into freelancing. The thrill of bringing ideas to life and the satisfaction of meeting real-world needs inspired me to take the leap further. And so, AdwiXe was born. AdwiXe is not just a company; it's a venture that seeks to automate the process of life, making it not only visually stunning but also seamlessly efficient. After all these experiences, I want to learn more so that I can solve industrial problems with fusion of augmented reality, automation, and artificial intelligence. Now, I set my sights on pursuing a Master's in Automation and Electrical Engineering at Aalto University. Aalto, with its stellar program and vibrant community, beckons as the next chapter in my journey. I chose Aalto university because it is renowned for its commitment to innovation and cutting-edge research, particularly in the field of automation. The projects Forestrix and Farmix by Arto Visala inspired me a lot to apply for this program. Beyond academic considerations, Espoo as a city represents an innovation hub, offering an inspiring backdrop for my studies. My career goals align with my established company, AdwiXe, where I specialize in augmented reality and IOT solutions. With the expertise of Aalto’s faculty and my enthusiasm for this field, I am confident that I can make significant contributions to Robotics, Automation, and society. I am actively seeking a Finland government scholarship or a full-fee scholarship for my master's program. As an entrepreneur currently bootstrapping my company, this scholarship would be instrumental in allowing me to dedicate my full attention to my studies, alleviating financial concerns. With a consistent A-grade academic record, I am committed to making the most of this opportunity, and the scholarship would greatly contribute to my academic focus and success.
