I am writing to bring to your attention a series of concerning incidents that I have been experiencing as a resident in 2 Nightingale Drive CO92FQ. These incidents are not only affecting my quality of life but are also exacerbating navigating the world with autism and mental health issues. I believe it is crucial for the housing association to address these issues promptly to ensure a safe and supportive living environment. Allow me to provide a more detailed account of the incidents: 1. **Persistent Requests for Food:** Despite extending assistance by providing bags of shopping on numerous occasions, I find myself unable to decline persistent requests for food due to an overwhelming fear of confrontation and guilt. 2. **Unauthorized Use of Electricity:** Requests to insert an extension lead into my property for their pets otherwise they will all die, as their electricity had been cut off, intruding on my personal space and resources. 3. **Intrusive Behaviour:** Frequent unannounced visits and requests to use my shower, creating an uncomfortable invasion of my personal space. 4. **Unpleasant Gift Exchange:** A seemingly innocent gift of a car seat, only to later discover it comes with a charge of £20, introducing an element of deceit and financial burden. 5. **Intimidation:** Feeling paralyzed to go outside for a cigarette due to the constant fear of unreasonable requests that if declined will lead to confrontation. 6. **Financial Requests:** Frequent requests to borrow money, coupled with deceptive tactics such as charging for unrequested car cleaning services. 7. **Communal Smell:** Enduring a constant smell of cannabis in the communal hallway that permeates my living space, leading to extensive efforts to cleanse my belongings from the feeling of contamination. 8. **Pet-Related Issues:** Experiencing their dog urinating on me frequently, intensifying the challenge of even stepping outside, especially for a simple act like having a cigarette. 9. **Harassment and Following:** Enduring unwanted attention, feeling consistently harassed and followed whenever I attempt to leave my property. 10. **Neighbour Conflicts:** Facing confrontations with a threatening neighbour, stemming from a previous statement made against him due to an assault on another neighbour. 11. *Noise Disturbances:** Consistent disturbances from upstairs, including walking, doors shutting, cabinets closing, and various household activities such as toilet flushing and washing machine use. 12. **Security and Privacy Concerns:** Navigating issues with checking the post-box, constant buzzing of doorbells, and disturbances including door slamming and shouting in communal areas, infringing on my sense of security and privacy. 13. **Police Involvement:** Frequent police visits searching for neighbours, contributing to an already uneasy atmosphere. 14. **Maintenance Disruptions:** Enduring cleaning activities in the hallway, doors banging, disruptions in the communal bin shed eg people inside it fixing bikes/car parts making it challenging to dispose of rubbish, and feeling unwell after exposure to an unkempt environment. 15. **Unpleasant Odours:** Battling unpleasant smells of stale cannabis, body odour, and dog urine in the hallway, coupled with challenges in propping doors open due to safety concerns and the threat of aggression from another resident if the doors are left open. 16. **External Disturbances:** Ongoing disruptions outside the property, including drilling, extended van cleaning/re installing activities that can last for days at a time. Constant mess, fly-tipping, and the unsightly presence of dog feces. 17. **Parcel Theft:** Coping with the distress of personal parcels being taken if left in the communal areas, then having to necessitating extensive communication and retrieval efforts. 18. **Inappropriate Requests:** Facing uncomfortable situations such as being asked for prescription drugs, further adding to the challenges of daily life. 19. **Neighbour Disputes:** Constant requests for myself to mediate conflicts and control noise disturbances from other residents, adding to the overall strain on my well-being. 20. false alibis and coercion to involve ones self in criminal activity** Being asked repeatedly for false alibis during a police investigation of stalking and assault. Having to agree face to face and then having to tell the police the truth.
