I am Renostan Arasavoldan, passport number N10036205, Sri Lankan citizen, a permanent resident of Sanguvely North, and employed as a Restaurant Assistant Manager. This statement is to apply for a student visa to pursue a degree in hospitality management at Schellhammer Business School in Spain. Regarding my Education, I passed my G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in 2007 and did G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2011. I have followed a Certificate Level English diploma in 2010 and Hotel Management Certificate course in 2012. Also I followed a Diploma in Hotel Management in 2020. I worked as a Guest supervisor in 2013-2020 and Currently, I am working as a Restaurant Assistant Manager in Hotel Vavuniya from 2020 up to date. Regarding my family, there are five members including me. From the time I decided on higher studies from a foreign university, the first choice of country that came to my mind was naturally Spain. Presently, I am interested in carrying on with my advanced studies, while diversifying my professional profile with Schellhammer Business School. I have never even considered such fascination but it has ultimately provided me with the opportunities that are available in this industry. I felt curious about exploring the machinery behind the hotel business since my country has many potential in tourism and hotel management field. When I work in hotel management field, I understood that the hotel and hospitality industry is really challenging, diverse and fascinating. I realized more than ever that it holds immense potentials for my career, and the field has immense employment opportunities for me. Being a person who enjoys taking up challenges, I found this domain quite invigorating as well as rewarding. Having Academic and practical knowledge with a graduate degree and my experience will open my path for getting promoted from my current position, therefore I decided to do a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in Schellhammer Business School in Spain. Pursuing higher education from abroad seemed to be perfect because I was keen to have a global perceptive about my chosen field and gain knowledge in international level and adopt it in to my country to be more competitive and serve better. As I go through the course structure and goals, they designed it for popular areas of work, include receptionist, conference and exhibition management, restaurant and catering management, and hotel and accommodation management. On returning to my home country after completing the Hospitality Management degree, I am certain to attract rewarding job opportunities such as Accommodation manager, Catering manager, Chef, Conference center manager, Event manager, Fast-food restaurant manager, Hotel manager, Public house manager, Restaurant manager to provide me wide range of opportunities in my career with the company I am working with the help of my degree which I am going to obtain from Schellhammer Business School in Spain. I thought my education must be towards Hospitality management. I hope I can reach the top in this field. I strongly believe that this is the perfect place for my studies and the country and school as it has a well- organized education system.
