We are now leaving Bellagio heading towards Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta. Lake Como is one of the largest lakes in Europe with an area of 145 square kilometers and is the deepest lake of glacial origin in Europe, with a depth of 412m exactly at the narrowest point of the lake in front of Nesso. It features one only little island: Isola Comachena where The traditional feast of San Giovanni takes place on the Saturday night closest to 24 June, with a solemn procession of boats and the traditional spectacular fireworks show on the lake.
