Ghazal; Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad Parray (Masroor); Translation: Gowhar Ali Ahanger; At the bottom, swirled, my scattered pieces find, Ailment flees, as I rise to impair, Blindfolded, I offer my heart to the sun's bright mind, Melted snow amassed ahead, my spirit aware. Unto the deep river, my passion's flame unquenched, In the hot desert, I find solace to slake my thirst, May the embracing wind in my lap be clenched, A fire hoarding within my bosom, my emotions burst. Ever-present countenance in the wee hours, The moon in the sky, shy with a graceful face, A poem, Masroor renders with love's gentle powers, Eye flames bring forth oceans of emotions to embrace.
