To demonstrate the tutorial, the video will be alternating between two accounts: the story viewer and the account owner (you). Let's start. The story viewer opens Instagram and views a story. As you can see, the Send Message feature is still available. The user can reply to the story. Here's how to disable this feature. Step 1. On Instagram, go to Settings and Privacy. Step 2. Inside, tap Message and story replies. Step 3. Tap Story replies. Step 4. Tap the third option “Don't allow story replies” You've just turned off the Reply feature for Your Instagram Story! For a quick demo, we will move to the story viewer's perspective once again. As the user views the dummy.016's story, you can see that the send message or reply feature is no longer available.
