Introduction As I reflect on my journey as an entrepreneur, I can't help but think about the role that mentorship, internship, and apprenticeship play in business development. When I started my company, Maximum Impact Digital Institute Nigeria Ltd, with my friends, we were passionate and full of ideas, but we lacked the necessary guidance and support to succeed in the long run. We made mistakes and learned from them, but it wasn't until later that I realized the value of having a mentor or an experienced business leader to guide me through the process. That's why I wrote this book - "YES I CAN: Youth Empowerment Scheme, Internship Connectors Across Nations." In it, I explore the importance of mentorship, internship, and apprenticeship in the context of the Ibo apprenticeship model, which has helped to make the Ibo tribe one of the wealthiest trading tribes in the world. I want to share my experiences and insights with young people who are just starting out in the world of business, in the hope that they can avoid some of the pitfalls that I faced and achieve greater success. Internship and apprenticeship programs provide young people with the opportunity to learn practical skills and gain valuable work experience. They also allow them to develop relationships with experienced professionals who can provide guidance, support, and mentorship. These programs can be particularly valuable in industries like technology, where the pace of change is rapid and the demand for skilled workers is high. Mentorship, on the other hand, provides young people with ongoing support and guidance as they navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business. A mentor can offer advice, provide constructive feedback, and share their own experiences, helping young entrepreneurs to avoid mistakes and make more informed decisions. In this book, I draw on the Ibo apprenticeship model and my own experiences as an entrepreneur to show how mentorship, internship, and apprenticeship can help young people to achieve their goals and succeed in business. I believe that by sharing these insights, we can empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to create a better future for themselves and their communities. This book is Volume 1 in Volume 2, i will show us how submitting to internship, mentorship and apprenticeship brought about recovery for me and my associates. In loving memory of my beloved biological father, Elder Ben J Ebene, whose unwavering belief in my potential sparked the flame of entrepreneurship within me. Though he has returned to his maker, his spirit lives on as an eternal source of inspiration. To God, my true guiding light and ultimate source of strength, this book is dedicated. It is by His divine grace and infinite wisdom that I have been blessed with the courage to pursue my dreams and the unwavering faith to overcome challenges. With every page penned, I humbly acknowledge that without the love, guidance, and support of both my heavenly Father and my earthly father, this journey would have been impossible.
