In the depths of the ocean's embrace, Where marine life dances with grace, A plea arises from the silent sea, From creatures who long to be debris-free. Oh, children of the land and shore, Hear the fishes' cry, their hearts implore, With voices soft as ocean breeze, They beg us, please, protect our seas. In waters vast, once pristine and blue, Now drifts of plastic mar the view, Bottles, bags, and straws abound, Threatening life that should know no bounds. Sea turtles, graceful, glide along, But tangled in plastic, their song is gone, Dolphins leap with joyful glee, Yet trapped in debris, they yearn to be free. The whales, those giants of the deep, Swim through garbage as they weep, Their ancient wisdom we must heed, Before they vanish, their spirits freed. Shoals of fish, a shimmering sight, But plastic swirls cause endless fright, Entangled in this man-made plight, They plead for change with all their might. So let us teach our young, and old, To cherish waters, pure and bold, Recycle, reuse, reduce, and mend, To safeguard oceans and defend. From mountaintop to ocean floor, Let love for Earth forever soar, Together we can mend the tides, And rid the seas of plastic's strides. In schools, let this message ring, Like waves that dance and seagulls sing, To cherish life in every hue, And keep our oceans clean and true. For in the end, we must embrace, The gift of oceans' boundless grace, And hand in hand, we'll find our way, To a brighter, cleaner, ocean day.
