After a delayed start caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, TUI River Cruises launched TUI Maya, the first of our three adults-only ships, on 15 August 2021. With TUI Skyla and TUI Isla following in Winter 21 & March 2022, offering fully-loaded itineraries to Germany, The Netherlands, Serbia and more covering summer and winter seasons. The season was the first we had with all three ships and proved challenging with over 100 flight cancellations and low water levels but there were highlights too. In June TUI Skyla achieved an amazing NPS score of 100 and we were short listed for best river cruise line at the Wave Awards and Globe Travel Awards respectively, as well as being awarded a runner up place at the News UK Awards. This summer we have expanded our shore expereince programme to include tickets and attractions in some of our most popular destinations to allow customers the opportunity to explore independantly if they wish. Due to the popular demand of our festive sailings, all three ships will sail this winter, offering 10 itineraries allowing customers the opportunity to visit some of Europes biggest and best christmas markets or elebrate christmas or New Year onboard with us. With growing demand for River Cruising and the return of Egypt we're excited to be adding the River Nile to our portfolio from W24 expanding our fleet to 4 ships. Sailing from Luxor, offering a 7 night itinerary, Legends of the Nile. Customers will be able to visit key site suchs as Temple of Hatsheput, Abu Simbel and Luxor Temple.
