Ladies and gentlemen if I can have your attention for just a moment. I am so sorry It seems I have had a voice change since yesterday, I am guessing it’s the lack of sleep. Today, I stand before you as a proud father, feeling a mix of emotions that can only be described as equal parts joy, pride, and relief. Joy because my beautiful daughter has found the love of her life, pride because she has grown into an amazing woman, and relief because I no longer have to pay for her cell phone bill. It's a win-win situation! First and foremost, we would like to welcome our new son-in-law Matthew into the family. I have to say, my son-in-law is a brave man. Not because he's standing here marrying my daughter, but because he voluntarily chose to become part of our crazy family. Trust me, we're like the circus, except without the acrobats or the cute animals. But hey, life is short its good to have fun! Now, as the father of the bride, it is my duty to share a few embarrassing stories about my daughter. Don't worry, she already signed a legally binding agreement that prevents her from disowning me after this speech. So, here we go! .. Once upon a time, there was a father who had a teenage daughter. Now, this father was a bit overprotective, to say the least. He had installed security cameras all over the house, a fingerprint lock on the front door, and even had a drone follow his daughter whenever she went out. Kidding.. I would not do that.. Dad: "Why did the tomato turn red?" Daughter: "I don't know, why?" Dad: "Because it saw the salad dressing!" Daughter: "Oh, Dad!" But let's talk about the present, shall we? I have had the privilege of watching my daughter grow into a remarkable woman. She's intelligent, caring, and has an impeccable taste in husbands. And let's not forget about her organizational skills. If you ever need someone to plan a wedding and not miss a single detail, she's your girl. I have no idea where she gets it from. Definitely not from her dad, who still can't remember what I ate for Dinner on a regular basis. Finally, we want to say a few words to the happy couple. Remember, marriage is a partnership, so make sure to share everything. Share your dreams, your laughter, and most importantly, share the remote control. Trust me, it's the key to a successful marriage. Even if it means Hockey Aaliyah. In all seriousness, seeing my daughter so happy today fills my heart with pure joy. To the newlyweds, may your love be as strong as the Wi-Fi signal in our house, and may your life together be filled with endless love, laughter, and memorable moments. Here's to a lifetime of happiness! Cheers, everyone! Let's raise our glasses to the bride and groom, two people who have given us all a reason to celebrate today. Thank you for letting us share in this beautiful day, and please don't forget to save me a dance later. I've been practicing my questionable dance moves just for this occasion! We Love you both and can’t wait to see the amazing plans God has instore for you guys.
