My name is Smily and I am 29 years old. I’m living with my mother. I m interested in Rugby and rap. I compose music and listen to music. For the rugby the field is near of my house. I go play rugby every day. I train with the national team of South Africa. I ‘m rugby man in South Africa team where my father wanted to play. My father was born in 1970 and died in 1992. He lived during the apartheid. It was impossible to live my father said. He had no freedom, no right and couldn’t do what he wanted. When he was 22 years old, in 1992 he demonstrated because he wanted to play in South Africa team but he was black he couldn’t even if he was very talented and a good person with good physical abilities. It was unfair. Unfortunayely during the demonstrated he was taken to prison . When he was in jail, he was mistreated and didn’t have good living conditions. He suffered a lot. He has been hit and sometimes he had to sleep in the floor.. One day he just spoke badly to a white guard, and he was killed by him. It’s very unfair, died just because the guard was racist. My mother was born in 1973 and she is still alive. She is a house keeper. She works hard and had a badly paid job. The apartheid was very difficult for her because she couldn’t take the bus. She was obliged to walk to her work which was 12km away from her home. Now she can take the bus. When my father went out of this world she was very sad and distraught. After that we lived with a low paid job for two
