Welcome to Top 10! We're going to be ranking superheroes from the most popular to the least. We'll start with number 10, which is Batman -- don't worry, we won't be making you read through all ten of these! 10. Flash Flash is a superhero who can run at speeds faster than the speed of sound. He also has super speed, meaning that he's capable of vibrating his molecules and moving faster than any other object in the universe (except for Superman). While he has no real powers or abilities outside of running fast, many people have speculated that this could be because Flash is just being lazy with his powers—a joke or even an indication that they're fake. Flash had been around since 1940 and appeared in nearly every comic book published by DC Comics until 2011 when DC rebooted their entire comic book universe with 52 new books released throughout 2012-2013. The character was then reintroduced into modern continuity as part of The New 52 series which began publication in June 2013; though it wasn't until 2015 when we saw him again live action on television as part of Arrow season 4 episode "The Huntress Returns" where we learned more about how he came into power! 9. Thor Thor is a superhero from the Marvel Universe. Thor is a Norse god of strength, thunder, and lightning. He was born on Asgard as a son of Odin and Jord (fathers who were brothers). His other gods included Freya and Loki. In comics canon, he first appeared in Journey into Mystery #83 (Jan. 1962); he was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.[1] In addition to his role as an adventurer,[2] Thor often possesses superhuman strength; his most common manifestation being muscular but not bulky.[3] 8. Green Lantern Green Lantern is a member of the Justice League, and can create anything he can imagine. He also has a weakness to yellow light, which makes him vulnerable when fighting against villains with this ability. His real name is Hal Jordan; however, the ring he wears on his finger was given to him by his father as an infant after he died in a car crash at age 3 months old. 7. Captain America Captain America is a superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe. He first appeared in 1941 during World War II. He was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. In the comics, he has been depicted as a member of both Alpha Flight and the Avengers team, although he hasn't been seen on any television shows or movies yet. 6. Wonder Woman Wonder Woman is a DC Comics character, who was created by William Moulton Marston and appeared in All-Star Comics #8. She is a princess of Themyscira, an island paradise inhabited by Amazons and half-human/half-god offspring of Zeus. Some say that she was born with powers similar to those of Superman but they have never been proven or disproven by anyone other than herself. Her abilities include superhuman strength and speed; superhuman endurance; the ability to fly using winged sandals called "sandals" which can also be used as weapons when thrown at enemies (like Batman's batarangs); teleportation through space/time using her tiara, bracelets made from gold (each bracelet contains an hourglass), magic lasso made from silver chains that has unlimited uses during battle situations against any type of enemy including humans; plus many others! 5. Iron Man The fifth-best superhero of all time is Iron Man. Tony Stark is a genius and philanthropist who makes his fortune by creating weapons for the military, but when an accident leaves him paralyzed, he creates a suit of armor to allow him to walk again. Now he fights crime as Iron Man! 4. Wolverine Wolverine is a mutant who possesses animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, powerful regenerative ability known as a healing factor and three retractable bone claws on each hand. He is best known as a member of the X-Men, Alpha Flight and the Avengers. Wolverine's first appearance was in 1971 in Marvel's The Incredible Hulk #180 (cover-dated March). In this issue Wolverine is introduced as an adversary for Bruce Banner (Hulk)'s alter ego Bruce Banner aka The Hulk. After appearing as an antagonist to Bruce Banner/The Hulk he joined forces with Victor Creed aka Sabretooth after being manipulated by Colonel William Stryker into joining his "Death Squad" consisting of Power Man & Iron Fist; Captain America & Hawkeye; Thing; Human Torch & Namorita but only lasted until issue #181 when they were confronted by Namorita again who killed Human Torch. 3. Superman Superman is the first superhero, and he's also one of the most popular. He was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1933. Superman has been a part of comic books ever since! Superman is also considered to be one of the strongest superheroes out there because he can lift up to 10 tons with his bare hands! That’s pretty impressive considering how strong gods are in mythology (like Hercules). 2.Spider-Man Spider-Man is a fictional superhero created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962). Spider-Man is one of the most recognizable characters, and has been licensed to many products. In addition to appearing in comics, he has also been adapted into other media such as television shows, video games, clothing lines and toys. 1. Batman If you think it's hard to choose a superhero that isn't Batman, you're right. He has been around for over 80 years and is still going strong! So let's break down why he's so great: He's the most popular superhero of all time. This can be seen in the fact that there are more than 200 million copies of his comics sold every year (and they're not just being sold at Walmart). He has been portrayed in over 2,000 films and TV shows since 1939—that's almost one per week! The most recent film version was released in 2005 with Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. In 2013 another movie starring Ben Affleck as Batman came out called "Man Of Steel." These are the best of the best! These are the best heroes in history. They have the best powers, stories and villains. These superheroes come from Marvel and DC Comics, from movies and TV shows, from the MCU, DCEU and MCU as well! There you have it, the best superheroes of all time. We know that this list is subjective, so if we missed your favorite superhero or superheroine then please let us know in the comments below!
