The world is changing… Once upon a time, it was considered perfectly acceptable when walking into an enclosed public space such as a restaurant, a bar or even an aeroplane, to be greeted by the unmistakable acrid aroma of stale tobacco and ash. Despite a downward trend in the number of cigarette smokers within the UK and the ban on smoking indoors, Britain would still see smoking prevalence at dangerously high levels.
