TELL us ABOUT YOUR SELF? Ok, well thank you for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed today, I’m Ronel Bayot, I took up a Fitter Machinist Course at Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati. Currently, I work at Amkor Technology for 10 years as a Machinist, which I Operate and Program Wire Cut, EDM Sinker, and EDM Drill. We fabricate a precision part that will be using in the production area like Punch and Die, and Mold parts. I’ve learned how to operate each piece of machinery and completed my work efficiently. - May I present some of my videos and photos of my work process WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU? I believe that I am the best candidate for the job because of my 10 years’ experience in the industry, as well as my proven track record in APM. I am confident that I can use my skills and knowledge to contribute to the company’s success. TELL us ABOUT YOUR STRENGTH? My strength is that I am Disciplined and Focused, this means I will always work hard to help finish the task within the given deadline. TELL us ABOUT YOUR WEEKNESS? I've always had trouble with public speaking. While I don't need to do much public speaking in my role as a machinist, I still feel that it's an important skill, especially when I want to offer my opinion during a meeting. I have been taking steps to get better at it, I spoke with my manager and he recommended I speak at each team meeting for a few minutes about our project timeline. This practice has makes me to relax and see public speaking as an opportunity to help my team members do their jobs effectively. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I am certain that the coming ten years will be productive for me. Working in an esteemed organization with a positive work environment can be rewarding. I can picture myself growing to the position I am working on. WHY DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE YOUR CURRENT JOB? I have enjoyed working for my current employer. However, I want a change of direction and I want to work for an overseas that will put my skills and experience to good use and who has exciting plans for the future. WHY ARE YOU WILLING TO MOVE TO NEW ZEALAND FOR THIS JOB? I am willing to move to New Zealand for this job because I believe that it is a great opportunity to learn about new cultures and gain work experience in a different country. Combined with the fact that my work experience is a perfect fit for the position, makes me the best candidate for the job. HOW WILL YOU ADAPT TO NEW ZEALAND WORK CULTURE? For me adapting to a new culture is to accept that change is going to be enforced. Patience is the key to adjust to a new setting. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS POSITION?
