Hello, in this video I am going to talk about the movie Amelie. Amelie is a French movie released in 2001. And this movie is very famous. The film tells a part of Amelie Poulain's life. Amelie's parents were really weird. Her father was a doctor and her mother was a teacher. Unfortunately, her parents believed that Amelie had a heart condition. Actually, Amelie was a normal child, but she was home-schooled and grew up alone. When Amelie was a small child, a woman who committed suicide by jumping from the top of the Notre Dame Church fell on Amelie's mother. And her mother died. After her mother's death, her father became withdrawn and estranged from society. Amelie left home at the age of 18 and worked as a waitress in a small cafe. Amelie's character was very imaginative and able to be satisfied with simple pleasures. One day, she was startled by the news of Princess Diana's death. And accidentally uncovered behind the wall a metal box in which a child was hiding his childhood memories. Inside the metal box, there was a child's toys and an old photograph. At this point, the movie was divided into two parts. In the first episode, Amelie tried to find the owner of the metal box. In this adventure, Amelie met many new characters. After a long search, Amelie found the owner of the metal box and surprisingly delivered it. Amelie was very happy and she has decided to always help people. There is a scene here, which is also my favorite scene in the movie. A blind man is lost in the middle of the city in the crowd. While everyone was passing by the blind man. Amelie came and accompanied this man to the subway station. Since the blind man could not see his surroundings. Amelie told him about the prices of the products, animals and some details she saw around him during the journey. There is such a fluent narration in this one-minute scene that I was fascinated while watching it. Then the second part of the movie started. In this episode, Amelie fell in love with a man she met by chance. And wanted to help him. Here, the process of finding the love of life is described. After many events, Amelie reunited with the man she loved and the movie ended happily. The genre of this movie is romantic comedy. Both beautiful things about love and life are told. And some events in the society are told in a funny and sarcastic way. I really liked this movie because it has an amazing story. The events of Amelie are handled extremely well. In terms of music, all the soundtracks of the movie were great. Sometimes I got emotional and sometimes I laughed unintentionally. This movie is very lucky to have such good music. The footage of the film and the use of the camera were also great. I especially loved the yellow color tone of the movie. The yellow hue added a nostalgic feel to the film. Some scenes of the movie were like a painting. This beautiful film has received 5 Oscar nominations. In addition, the movie has a unique narrative style. I've hardly seen a movie like this before. Amelie was one of the best movies I have ever seen. I liked it very much and I recommend everyone to watch Amelie.
