Ladies and gentlemen it's an honour and a privilege to be here with you today to talk about my flag. I chose to put an elephant on my flag because as you all know, the forest is getting smaller and smaller due to deforestation. Consequently the elephants come into villages and they destroy field, farms, plantations and sometimes they injure or kill people. In retiliation of this, humans kill every year more than one hundred elephants. I think that, if we don't do something to help elephants the will desappear. On the one hand we need to protect villages and on the other hand we need to restore a habitat for the elephants and help them. I chose the tiger as my second animal because it too in danger. Indeed in India tigers are caught and killed to sell their coats. Poaching is the fourth largest illegal activity in the world. It is a big business, worth about 20 billion dollars. Elephants, tigers, likes cows are important to Indian culture, so it seems right to depict them on our flag. Don't forgot, animals and humais are equal. On our flag I have put orange in the top left-hand corner, orange represents the search for truth. In the bottom right-hand corner I put blue, in India blue evokes truth, courage and the ability to fight against evil. In the middle I chose to use white because it symbolises peace. In conclusion I'm convinced that together we can change things to improve the humains-animals cohabitation that is dear to our contry. Are you ready to help me? Choose my flag !
