Dominic looked around for the keys to his file cabinet suddenly remembering, shit Leah still has my damn keys. He sat at his desk rubbing his forehead, contemplating on prying the doors open. Deciding against doing that he scrolled through his phone, stopping at her number. His head started to throb from the thought of having to call her. Fuck it here goes nothing. "What the fuck you want?" Leah's voice was like daggers coming through the phone. "Man listen, you have the keys to my file cabinet and I need them." Leah and Dominic were together for 2 years before she broke up with him for cheating. "Fuck you!" Dominic knew this phone call would come with aggravation but he also knew if she picked up, she was going to give him the keys. "Listen, can we just meet at my place later?" His plan was to put dick on her, get his keys, and finally be done. "I'll think about it." Leah's tone softened. "Man come on. Bring the keys to my place tonight or I'm coming to yours, your choice." Mack move, he knew what to say and how to say it to get her to comply. She likes her man aggressive and in charge. "I'll be over there at ten." Dominic smiled. "Bet, don't forget them keys." He reminded her before he ended the call. Mondays tend to be one of their slower days at the dealership and with Rodney in Louisiana, until God knows when Dominic decided to close for the day. He made his way over to Frenchy's hoping Kelsie was at work. He pulled up opting to go in instead of taking his chances at the drive thru. Before exiting his Black Avalanche sitting on twenty inch chrome rims, he sprayed his wrist and neck with Dolce & Gabbana The One. Dominic walked into the restaurant, commanding everyone's attention, per usual. He was tall and muscular with smooth dark chocolate skin. His eyes had the tendency to change from dark brown to hazel, making the women go crazy since he was a child. Although he wasn't flashy, Dominic had sex appeal. It wasn't unusual for him to walk out of any building with a few phone numbers, but today his focus was clear. He scanned the restaurant as he made his way to the line. Rodney wasn't lying bout this mothafucka. Right as he was reaching the counter after standing in line for twenty five minutes, he glanced at the front door opening and there she was, Kelsie was entering the building for her shift. Dominic took notice to the many eyes following her, you broke ass lil boys ain't ready, he thought before he made his move. Dominic reached into his shirt pocket, pulled out a gold money clip filled with hundreds. Kelsie didn't notice him as she walked through the restaurant texting. "Excuse me," Dominic's tone was low and steady, she almost bumped into him before she looked up. Damn he fine. It took her a second to realize who he was. She tried to contain her smile with no luck. "I'll give you five thousand dollars and a job to quit, right now." A few of the people within ear shot shifted their focus to Dominic and Kelsie. Before either of them realized the whole restaurant was watching. Kelsie laughed nervously, not sure if he was serious. "You're really funny." Dominic held the money out. "I'm really serious." Kelsie looked around, "Girl you better take that money." A few people started chiming in on what she should do. "A job doing what?" She inquired. Kelsie's sister came from behind the counter, took the money from Dominic and put it in Kelsie's hand. "It don't matter she taking the job." "Bitch you dumb if you pass that up to work here." She looked back at Dominic, "and he fine. Girl please." Her sister said as she went back behind the counter. Amused by her, Dominic pulled out his wallet as he walked towards the counter. He handed Kelsie's sister a thousand dollars and his business card, "I got a job for you too." "Welp yall it's been real." She said as she gathered her things. Dominic knew Kelsie wouldn't say no at this point. "So what about you?" Kelsie was speechless. "Cat got yo tongue?" "I mean you kinda made it impossible to say no." Feeling accomplished, Dominic headed towards the door. "I expect you to be at work tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. sharp. I don't tolerate lateness.
