Hi! Welcome to The Narrator. Today we will show you a story of a regular guy, forced to face back his previous dangerous life due to an unforeseen incident endangering his family. Hutch seems like an ordinary guy, living with his two children and his wife Becca. He has a regular office job in his father-in-law's metal fabrication company. However, he is having problems with his marriage life and his working life is rather boring. One night, an armed man and woman broke into his house. While his teenage son Blake, fought and wrestles one of them, Hutch is hesitant and refused to intervene then begs his son to release the man, who then punches the boy. The robbers left, but the incident caused his family to think he is a coward and a failure. Hutch contacts his brother Harry on a hidden radio in his office and explains that did not fight back because the robbers were desperate, scared, and using an unloaded gun. Later that day, his daughter Abby, asks for help finding her missing kitty cat bracelet. Without a word, Hutch left to see his father David, and borrows his father's old FBI badge and gun to track down the robbers. He found their apartment and threatens them, but when he discovers their sick baby, he leaves. He took a bus home when a group of gangsters stopped and rode the bus he is in. Looking for an opportunity to release his anger and frustration, he beats the thugs with the excuse of protecting a young woman passenger from sexual harassment. Once he is at home, he realizes he hasn't been talking to his family and tries to have proper communication with them. Harry persuades Hutch to see "The Barber", who provides Hutch with information about one of his victims: he is the younger brother of a Russian crime lord. As revenge, the Russian crime lord sends a crew led by his right-hand man to capture Hutch at home. Hutch hides his family in the basement while he alone fought the gang and kills most of the attackers before the right-hand man tases him into unconsciousness and captures him. While locked inside the trunk of a car, Hutch found a fire extinguisher and uses it to blind the driver, causing the car to crash, and killing the right-hand man and his remaining crew. Hutch returns home and sends his family to safety before setting his house on fire to destroy any evidence. Hutch reveals that he is a former "auditor", a hitman employed by intelligence agencies. After letting one of his targets go free, Hutch found him a year later, reformed, and happily living with his new family. Hutch wanted the same life, so he retired, against the wishes of his superiors. He bought his father-in-law's company with a stash of gold bars, Hutch burned the money that the Russian crime lord was protecting for the mob, along with the Russian crime lord's art collection. The Russian crime lord pursues Hutch to the factory with his men, where his brother and father showed up to help him eliminate the gangsters using a variety of weapons and deadly traps that Hutch had set up and kill all the gunmen until only the Russian crime lord is left. Out of bullet, Hutch charges the Russian crime lord with a Claymore mine attached to a bulletproof glass and detonates it, killing the Russian mobster. After ensuring that his father and brother escaped, Hutch is arrested, but his police interrogators are notified, and to their surprise, that he should be released with no charges filed. Three months after the incident while buying a new house with Becca, Hutch receives a call suggesting that his services are still required.
