Story of a sea turtle Hello! My name is William, and I am a sea turtle! Nice to meet you! These days, plastic waste is increasing in the sea. Let me show you what’s going on down here! Only 12% of the plastic we use is recycled. So where do other plastics go? Most non-recycled plastics are incinerated or thrown away. Most of the thrown plastic waste flows into the sea by wind or waves. If recycling is not done properly, plastic waste can pollute water such as lakes, oceans, and livers. Many sea turtles like my friend Mary are suffering from plastic waste. And, some turtles eat plastic waste because they mistake plastic for food!  If you recycle plastic well, we will not suffer anymore from the plastic in our habitat! Now, let me introduce the method of recycling! To recycle plastic, First, take off the labels Second, wash the plastic Third, sort the plastic That's all! After these processes, you can recycle plastic!
