Sorry if this gets messy or long. I’ve just been on my toes lately, per usual as a woman. Anyway, recently I felt like my dog was uninterested in our usual walk route so I took him to a different area of town. Everything was fine, but a guy approached me, he made small talk, asked if he could pet my dog, and I didn’t feel unsafe as it was still daytime with a few people out, so I let him. Pretty much right after he just left... It was strange, no bye or anything, just… walks away. Later, when I got home, I was getting texts from a number I’d never heard of. This gets creepy as it’s happened to other women, but this guy looked at my dog's tag for a split second and memorized my number. creepy from the get go but he was so casual about it. Like it was normal to do? Even though I blocked his number, I still have run-ins with him in places far away from the original spot, so we’re pretty sure he followed me home without my knowledge and kept track of places I frequently visited. I'm getting involved with the police so do not worry, but LADIES!! I know, I can’t say much but DO NOT have a schedule you follow to a T every day and keep a hawk eye on anyone asking to pet your dog or flat out reject it.
