1990s, New Hampshire, Concord. Anna is 19, she’s a high school dropout living in a disarranged apartment, barely able to afford food and utilities, and she works as a server in Joe’s Diner, a small side trailer outside the town. It’s not too far yet, not too close. Anna works there every day and knows everyone there; she clocks in from 3pm to 12am. “Hey, Joe I’m going to go now, have a nice day,” said Anna “Hey! Don’t you think it’s a little too unsafe out there? I heard some things going around about a ‘Night Ripper.’ How about I just take you home?” said Joe. Anna responds, “I’m fine Joe really, I don’t live that far. I’m going to go straight home; you know this.” “Alright Anna, I just want to make sure you’re safe.” Anna walks out and starts walking home. As Anna Is walking home, the fog gets thicker but notices a black sedan is behind her with the lights on starts following her. Anna runs in an alley filled with big rats; she attempts to hide but gets disgusted by the sight of the critters. She gets away by climbing a fence to the other side. She finds a rope in front of where she lands. “This can be useful for something, just in case.” Anna tries to lie low and takes a longer way home. She finds a place with a pull-down latter. She throws the rope up to pull the latter down. The throw was successful, and she gets inside. “I recognize this place,” says Anna. “It stinks in here... there are only bright pink lights; is this a crack den?” Anna quiets down after hearing someone enter. She looks around for supplies and finds a key in a rusting room. Anna goes downstairs to the basement and finds a locked door. Thinking the key she found is for the door, she unlocks it. The door leads to an abandoned subway. She walks around the area to inspect it. “These trains are just filled with wood and coal. How wasteful; I wonder why these lights still work. Weird.” Anna feels safe and away from the Night Ripper, so she walks around a little more until she finds a door. She goes through and realizes she is in the slums. She is close to home. “Shoot, I need to call my proprietor to open the gated door. I need 10 cents for the telephone. I will just look around for a while.” She still has not found 2 nickels. Anna looks around and sees the same black sedan. She sees a man in a yellow duck mask walk out of the car with a hunter’s knife, and she runs away as fast as she can. While she was running, she saw a woman. Anna talks to the woman and Anna tells her, “The Night Ripper... he is here! He is here! You need to get out of here fast!” The woman responds with “Beat it, dog, you are just trying to take my business! This is my area, not yours!” Anna ignores her and goes into another abandoned building to avoid the Night Ripper. She searches for 2 nickels while the Night Ripper looks for her. She finds 2 nickels in a room filled with cocaine. As she walks out of the building, a body falls in front of her. “Is that? The woman I met?” Anna says in her head. Anna screams in horror. The woman’s body sliced up, head almost falling off, only hanging from skin. Anna runs and goes to the telephone. She calls her proprietor to open the door. The proprietor opens the gate and anna gets inside. She opens her apartment door and sighs in relief that she is free. She turns on the tv and falls asleep. Anna wakes up to the sound of glass shattering. Anna freaks out “No! this can’t be happening!” anna yells. She quickly gets under the sofa and tries controlling her breathing. Anna can hear the Night Ripper’s footsteps. He walks around inspecting every room looking for anna desperately. He stops in the same room Anna Is in, and a teardrop falls from her eye, rolling down her cheek, praying and hoping the Night Ripper will think she is not there. 10 minutes passed of him standing there, 10 minutes of suffering and crying. He walks again. Instead of him standing behind the couch, he is now in front of the couch. Anna’s eyes widen more in fear of getting caught. Anna thinks to herself, crying, “Is this really the end? My horrible life is ending now? I cannot say goodbye to my mother but, it is not like I wanted to, anyway. She always caused pain in my life. I am glad I am dying this way. At least I will have my justice for this when he is caught.” The Night Ripper throws the couch up, revealing where Anna is. Anna tries to run away but trips. She screams and crying, squirming away from the killer, but the Night Ripper does not give her mercy and stabs her in the head, causing Anna to bleed out. She did not survive, and the Night Ripper knew exactly what to do with her corpse. He throws her out of the window, her body landing in the dumpster. He runs out of the building and gets the body out of the dumpster and puts her in the back of the car. He drives to the diner where she works. He grabs a rock and smashes one window, breaking into the diner. The Night Ripper goes back to his car and opens the back door. He grabs his knife and starts disarming her body. He grabs her headfirst and places it in the kitchen, then her arms underneath a dinner table, her torso put in the freezer then, her legs put standing up and the cash register. A horrible crime left behind; He drives off, acting like nothing happened. After he stabs and kills 3 more women, he parks in an alleyway to for the night. Then he sees flashing blue and red lights right before he tries to sleep, he tried to turn on the car, but the car is so old and broken down it will not turn on he thinks to himself “What am I going to do!? I should not have left her stupid corpse there in that stupid diner!” A police spots him and calls for back up The Night Ripper gets out of the car while police officers are shooting at him. He finds a spot to hide in and says to himself, “It’s over.” He stabs himself; he perishes in his own blood and tears. The police officers lead 13 murders to the Night Ripper and were put on the news to honor the victims.
