Today, I’m gonna talk about a time when I had to make a decision regarding career choice. If I’m not mistaken, it was when I was still a senior. At that time, I was in the middle of my finals and thesis, meaning that I was up to the ear with study. Needless to say, it was seriously a nerve-racking time. Moreover, as I was a senior, I was at the crossroads, not knowing which path to follow, whether I should go to work OR pursue higher education. I was so confused. Fortunately, my brother who always gives sound advice told me that I should consider the pros and cons of both paths before jumping to any conclusion. If I chose to work, I could live independently and relieve my parents' financial burden. But if I continued to study, I would get higher qualifications and eventually a job with a lucrative income and good prospects. After many sleepless nights, I finally decided to enroll in further study. Thankfully, getting my master's degree is a life-changing decision and I will never regret it. I guess what made it hard in the first place was my indecisive self. Still, I was able to make the final decision. Although I did have to sacrifice my time and health, my hard work paid off.
