Hello my name is Victor Bobade and i will be talking about a famous book called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone made by J K Rowling. I will be using the movie trailer for the background. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was J.K. Rowling's first novel. It is a story about Harry Potter, an orphan brought up by his aunt and uncle because his parents were killed when he was a baby. Harry is unloved by his uncle and aunt, but everything changes when he is invited to join Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and he finds out he is a wizard. Harry Potter, though a children's book series, is widely popular even among adults. These books are not popular without any reason, the love for these books is immense among people and once you have been introduced to the world of Harry Potter, it is hard to return. Harry Potter books are aimed at around 11 and over. They are family books, in which all your family will enjoy. One of the main reasons for people loving Harry Potter so much is because of the wide range of genres. The main genres are fantasy and coming of age. Almost every person to have ever read the books has read it when they were around 12–14. The first reason that many adults like the series is that many people simply grew up with the series. The series is nostalgic for many adults, bringing back memories of when they were kids. For many people childhood is considered the happiest time of their lives and the series bring back those memories. With 35% of Americans having read at least one Harry Potter book, among the biggest fans are men aged 18-34 (44%), women aged 18-34 (61%) and women aged 35-54 (41%). Anyone of any social class can read the book and enjoy it. The purpose of the product is to introduce people to the world of imagination, providing them information about the outside world, improving their reading, and speaking skills while improving their intelligence. The one who gets fantasized by wizarding world, magic, adventure, and spectacular plot is attracted towards the Harry Potter series. The reason why this book and series is appealing is simply because J.K. Rowling created a world that is so intricate that adults and children are amazed by the connections she made between all of the minute details, one full of magic and wonderful characters. Rowling's writing grew with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, as did her readers.
