Or MRSA a gram-positive germ that can live up to 7 months on surfaces. Then there are bacterial spores such as C-diff or Mycobacterium tuberculosis which can stay on surfaces for up to 4 months. Hand hygiene such as using hand sanitizer is and easy and effective way to help stop transmission of microbes.
