A HIGH output (1) results only if all the inputs to the AND gate are HIGH (1). If not all inputs to the AND gate are HIGH, LOW output results. Or gate behaves according to the truth table. A HIGH output results if one or both the inputs to the gate are HIGH. If none of the input is high, a LOW output results. Not gate behaves as if the input is true, then the output will be false. Similarly, a false input results in a true output.
