Our mission is to train and employ at least 1 million people by the year 2027 by bridging the gap between skills purchasing and gainful employment, to bring about a paradigm shift from linear to circular economy. There is poor infrastructure, and cumbersome bureaucracy causing us to produce little, as evidenced in OECD studies, Israel has the highest poverty rates amongst developed countries coupled with an increase in the cost of living. Community is the essence of sustainable development; it is a catalyst for social and economic growth that improves overall quality of life. Sustainable development must ensure not only economic growth but also environmental compatibility. We propose to develop Kehilla as a tool for collaborative innovation. Empowering connecting job seekers and employers through an entrepreneurial ecosystem.. Our platform empowers communities to harness their collective resources by providing a centralized platform for knowledge, tools and experts needed to manage successful cooperatives. We Leverage digital twin technology to boost efficiency, bridging the gap between skill purchasing, gainful employment and compensation. Cooperatives are a strong, vibrant, and viable economic alternative. Cooperatives have been shown to be resilient business models, fostering high levels of innovation and creating stable jobs. They are key actors in contributing to all seventeen UN's SDGs, as they have strong ties to local communities . The Shomrey Hashalom Co-operative was founded in 2008 in response to the many financial challenges our community face, such as unemployment and illiteracy. Survival brought us together as we developed a system of sharing and circular economy practices. Built on the concept of a people-to-people economy. Put in what you can, take what you need. Kehilla recognizes this immense potential of circular economy as a tool for collaborative innovation, enabling entrepreneurs, and job seekers to become a part of an entrepreneurial ecosystem allowing the development of circular economy and uplifting people through acquisition of gainful skills. It is imperative that we capitalize on the momentum behind sustainable development and circular economies by involving local communities and promoting the development of such an economy. So far, we've established an entrepreneurial cooperative of 150 businesses that employ 1,000 people. We researched, surveyed, and absorbed cottage businesses and their growth requirements. Finally, we developed and are currently testing our value innovation prototype To train and employ at least 1 million people by the year 2027. The grant would allow us to rapidly expand the platform and achieve its ambitious goals, thereby spearheading the development of the circular economy in the region.
