Alejandro Garnacho makes his first full debut for Manchester United and plays alongside his idol Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday night in Europa League against Sheriff. Hi Reds, welcome back to this channel. Please give us a like and remember to subscribe if you havan’t. Manchester United teenager Alejandro Garnacho self-confessed how it felt like he was 'dreaming' after he started alongside his longtime idol Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time. The pair was selected by Erik ten Hag who made four changes to the team that played at Chelsea, as Manchester United welcomed Sheriff Tiraspol to Old Trafford. The Reds needed only a point to secure qualification for the next phase of the competition. The boss fielded a strong line-up, with Victor Lindelof replacing injured centre-back Raphael Varane, and Tyrell Malacia in for left-back Luke Shaw who also later came in in the second half. Teenager Alejandro Garnacho made his maiden start, with Cristiano Ronaldo also back to spearhead the attack, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho dropping to the bench. Garnacho looked bright from the start and received a huge ovation from the home crowd when he was replaced by Donny Van De Beek 11 minutes from time. Alejandro Garnacho has posted a photo of himself alongside Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday. Garnacho has admitted that playing with Ronaldo at Old Trafford felt like a dream 'I don't know if it's real or if I'm dreaming,' Garnacho wrote alongside a picture of Ronaldo putting his arm around him on the pitch. It was also a big evening for his idol Ronaldo who scored on his return to the team after he was left out for the Red Devils' trip to Chelsea last Saturday for refusing to come on against Tottenham three days earlier. His goal came just hours after he had posted on Instagram that he remained as 'committed as always' to United despite speculation regarding his future at the club. This message gave a hint at a chance for Garnacho to play alongside him more often in the coming weeks and the 18-year-old did not look intimidated by the occasion on his maiden start. If he remains consistent, he could be another competition for the struggling Jadon Sancho in the coming weeks. How did you rate Garnacho’s performance against Sheriff?
