It's been three months since New York, and Tony's not doing so good. He likes to think he's been keeping a pretty tight lid on it so far. He'd moved the team into the tower, been as graceful a host as was expected of him, and locked himself away in the lab the rest of the time. He'd done well to avoid as many team bonding exercises and communal hang outs as possible, dodging away from meaningful conversations and too-close questions with practiced ease. Because he's starting to not keep such a tight lid on it, is the thing. Hell, Tony doesn't even know what the fuck it is he's trying to keep a lid on anymore. Turns out it's quite hard to hide yourself spiralling into an unknown chaos when you live and work with the same people 24/7.
