we'll start off slow. I had a really nice time tonight. This took you all day? He so good as Vijay's father. He has a fold-out sofa. He's just tailor made to be a cool dad. He only had to go through half of the audition before they said "No that's it, you got the part". He says something stupid, and he's obviously caught because his interlocuter does not believe him. But I love his confidence. Larry said it's funny how you can write a line for television and it works but it would never work in real life or it would be difficult to make them work in real life. Most shows wouldn't carry over from one episode to another. The BGM ties into the scene so nicely. The show was really starting to click. i'll give him a pass on that. you repaired a lot of damage from when they met joey. Good luck with that. Ijust wanted to tell you something before you heard it from someone else. Some of these scences are really burned into my brain. put the two films up against each other and compare. I really hope the film finds a life on DVD. you absolutely have to be on your toes with this film. From a visual standpoint, you start to think back on it. You cannot anticipate what's going to happen at any moment. I love the visual style of his films. They live by a code and they are noble. It has become my identity. I don't know if the film still holds up. Its one of these films that's hard to describe in terms of plot. The character is forced into a situation to take on a risk he is not equipped for. Everything about the film is just dead-on to me. The directing is so subtle, really graceful. I think that the big thing about this film is that it realizes that telling capote's entire story of his life wouldn't be that fascinating, rather than focusing on this event, the confluence of events leading to him to write that book. what we are trying to set up here is the idea of films that took themselves too seriously and over reached a little bit. I think he tries so hard to put his stamp on it that the film loses all the sense of magic the original book had. It’s a movie that doesn't know what meassage it wants to convey. I don’t want to take on a role im not sure I can handle. He really hits it dead-on. Plot takes a backseat to their character and their psychies. He's trailing someone. But you don't get information through the funnel of the protagonist. But you see what the bystander sees and form your own opinion, you alsmost become complicit in it. The way he builds suspense in the film. He can do more with a single motion of his hand or a facial expression than most actors can do with an entire speech. This is a very sympathetic potrayal of the bad guy. He really made a misstep. That's a good pick. He leaned in toward me. Hi its nice to see you again.
